จุดทศนิยม มีหลักการอ่านดังนี้

                             การอ่านจุดทศนิยม (Decimals)
จุดทศนิยม มีหลักการอ่านดังนี้ :-

เลขหน้าจุด อ่านโดยใช้เลขจำนวนนับธรรมดา (Cardinal)

จุด (.) อ่านว่า point

เลขหลังจุด อ่านทีละตัว

เลขศูนย์ (0) จะอ่านว่า โอ (oh) หรือ naught (นอท) หรือ zero ก็ได้

ตัวอย่าง เช่น :-

0.78	Naught point seven eight
10.25	Ten point two five
85.39	Eighty-five point three nine
105.3004	One hundred and five point three oh oh four
